Today's post is about the most fresh and summery trend of spring 2012 collections. Previously we have talked about most of this season's trends but I saved the best for last. Under the sea trend was seen in quite many runway shows. The ocean concept has inspired several designers so we were lucky enough to enjoy the deep blue colours of the waters, ethereal sparkling gowns, mermaids, corals, starfishes, sea horses and crystals creating a futuristic under water world, with models appearing as sea goddesses by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and nymphs by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. If you have already run through photos from this trend's looks you must have fallen in love with its magic! I definitely did, i mean what's the best way to celebrate summer and leave behind the boring dark colours of winter ( except pastels of course)? So I share with you some of my favourite outfits plus accessories from the best designers. Let's feel like little mermaids this summer. A new age Ariel in Chanel would be ideal!

One of the most beautiful things as the summer is getting closer is the sunset and the light as the sun goes down. I love this time of the day. I was just about to go out with friends and decided to capture this moment. I was wearing some of my latest jewelry which I winned in Sophie's giveaway from ''Me Llamo Sofie'' blog. A pair of feather earrings and two gold-pink braid bracelets. They are some of the cutest pieces I've had. I am definitely loving them! My look was in yellow and white tones, almost natural shades. And to put some colour in this outfit I chose my newest coral peep toe heels. There is no doubt I'm gonna wear these shoes all summer.

Mint Car (The Cure)

I know it's been a while since you've seen an outfit post on my blog but I haven't been feeling very well. Luckily I got a lot better and here I am! Today I am wearing my favorite mint pants with my new lace shirt. Mint is the best colour for this season, I am simply loving it. This look is more formal than my usual ones and that's what I love about it. The weather was very helpful as it has been most of the past days. Nick and I had a lot of fun trying to learn his new camera for the first time. I hope in the future our photos will be better and better.

Just a few days ago I received my new purchase from Oasap.com. It's a new polka dot shirt with green details that I loved from the first sight. I never owned anything in polka dots so I decided it was about time for something like this. I really like them in any colour combination and I consider them one of the classiest choices for elegant outfits. I wore it with my favorite neutral coloured pants and a cosy paif of high heels. I hate everything about you (Three Days Grace)

Do you remember when back in the 90's people used to walk around wearing belt bags??? Oh yes those ugly little bags on their waists that came in all colours. Well, I admit it, I hate these things. They definitely belong to my 'hate list' and although I am a very open minded person and have changed my mind about many fashion trends, this is one I would happily refuse to have for the rest of my life. In a parallel universe if Marc Jacobs had designed them for Louis Vuitton and he was gifting me one, I would throw it back in his face. Sorry Marc there's nothing personal ;) I always thought that this horrible type of bag or purse (even purse, for style's sake!!!) appeared in the early 90's and stayed there. But reality failed me once again when I saw Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City wearing them at least twice.

Dolce & Gabbana's spring collection had it all. Fruit prints, lace in pastel colours and black, vegetable/flower accessories naturally all inspired by south Italy. Sexy bra tops combined with midi skirts, hot shorts, flowing gowns, floral lady like jackets and black mini dresses with sparkling details constituted one of the most impressive and well received runway shows in Milan. These creations inspire me so much!!!
