Tarun Tahiliani Show at Indian Bridal Fashion Week 2013 Day 1



Tarun Tahiliani is no stranger to the bridal market, he knows what brides want– and that’s to look and feel like a princess. The show started with a contemporary dance performance by the Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts.the runway show was punctuated by their fluid, graceful movements that were a perfect marriage with Tarun’s couture collection. The line was split up into three very distinct collections; first up was:The Golden Collection Created with the luxurious Italian lamé jersey, it had a very Grecian vibe to it.
























Tarun Tahiliani took it a notch higher pairing it with chain mail dupattas, 3D flowers and Swarovski embellishments. The Enchanted Forest Moving on from gold, the colour palette ranged from beiges to reds and pinks. Saris were paired with obi belts, capes and bustiers giving a modern vibe to the traditional outfits. There was also a touch of Spanish influence, with flamenco inspired outfits making an appearance.
